wills for the people.

Our Team.
Wills for the People was founded in 2024 on a simple belief: estate planning is for everyone—not just the white and wealthy. Our work is grounded in a commitment to advancing racial wealth equity and a clear-eyed understanding that Black and Brown women are often excluded from conversations about building and protecting wealth despite being the backbone of their families and communities. That’s unacceptable.
We deserve high-quality estate planning that is easy to understand and culturally affirming. Many of our clients come to us confused by misinformation, overwhelmed by legal jargon, or unsure whether estate planning even applies to them. Our services and educational workshops bridge gaps in estate planning education.
We focus on serving women of color through practical, customized, and goal-driven asset-protection strategies. After getting to know you, our team explains how wills, trusts, and probate work. From there, we build a plan that protects what you’ve worked for and supports the legacy you want to leave—one that actually works in real life, not just on paper.
We are proud to be recognized by the Georgia Business Journal as an Honorable Mention for Best Estate Planning Law Firm in Georgia (2025).
