Revocable Living Trusts

What is a Revocable Living Trust?

A legal entity managed by a trustee and dictated by the rules the trustmaker (you) put in place during their lifetime. Trusts can be changed, revoked, or added to at any time during the trustmaker's life. While the trustmaker is able, they also serve as the trustee and retain complete control of assets. Trusts allow loved ones to skip the probate process and inherit from the estate—as long as the Trust is correctly set up and funded. Trusts are ideal for anyone looking to give loved ones an easy way to inherit property after death. They're also for anyone who wants to have rules and requirements for how and when beneficiaries can receive their inheritance.
